Job Purpose

We are looking for a dynamic Talent Leader to direct Boardable’s HR strategy and plans to support our mission and overall growth strategy.

This position has high accountability and reports directly to the C level. We’re searching for a proven talent leader and strategic thinker that is not afraid to roll up their sleeves as the company grows (classic player / coach role). This person will be responsible for ensuring the long-term success of both our employees and the organization as a whole.  


  • Develop strategic HR plans and policies (recruitment, training, compensation, benefits, diversity, etc.)
  • Partners with the leadership team to craft and execute Boardable’s human resource and talent strategy.
  • Manages the talent acquisition process, which may include recruitment, interviewing, and hiring of qualified job applicants; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
  • Manages the employee onboarding and offboarding processes.
  • Analyzes trends in compensation and benefits; researches and proposes competitive base and incentive pay programs to ensure attraction and retention of top talent.
  • Creates learning and development programs and initiatives that provide internal development opportunities for employees.
  • Oversees employee performance meetings, terminations, and investigations.
  • Provides support and guidance to management and other staff when complex, specialized, and sensitive questions and issues arise.
  • Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
  • Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
  • Manages ongoing relationships with HR vendors.
  • Collaborates with the leadership team to craft and support the company’s vision, mission and related culture.


  • Bachelor degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
  • 5+ years in human resources and/or recruiting experience
  • Knowledge and experience across a wide breadth of Human Resources functions, including: recruiting, talent management, learning and development, employee relations, and benefits/payroll administration.
  • Proven experience in strategic talent planning and implementation.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
  • Familiarity with Greenhouse ATS software a plus.
  • Knowledge of local and international labor law.
