About the Role

As the Manager of Marketing Operations you will partner and collaborate very closely with the Marketing team in leading Boardable’s overall CRM program and strategy, understanding lead development workflows, business objectives, and platform capabilities to drive improved sales and marketing automation and pipeline visibility. You will work closely with both Marketing, Operations, and Sales leaders to ensure that key end-to-end systems and processes work seamlessly and effectively to deliver the maximum ROI for all Marketing investments. In addition to day-to-day CRM management, this position will use the sales hub, marketing hub, conversion tools, and reporting and analytics to administer, implement, and iterate business processes to attract prospects, engage prospects into customers, and delight customers into promoters.

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Lead Boardable’s overall CRM program and strategy, understanding lead development workflows, business objectives, and platform capabilities to drive improved sales and marketing automation and pipeline visibility
  • Serve as project manager for all CRM-related projects
  • Serve as primary system administrator for our HubSpot CRM. Handle all basic day-to-day functions, including user account maintenance, configurations, permissions, and other routine tasks
  • Improve data integrity within HubSpot CRM through data import management, system integrations, data auditing, cleanup and deduping, and workflow management with focus on sustainable, scalable processes
  • Work with marketing and sales teams to design optimal lead management and routing processes, including using best practices to track pipeline/marketing attribution
  • Create and improve workflows, custom fields, and data flow management processes to support each department
  • Manage, maintain, and integrate all relevant third-party systems and integrations
  • Investigate and recommend new features to improve and expedite key sales activities to increase sales efficiency and productivity
  • Serve as primary system administrator for our HubSpot marketing and sales hubs, handling all basic day-to-day functions, including user account maintenance, configurations, permissions and other routine tasks
  • Use best practices to manage workflows and routing as necessary
  • Use industry best practices to ensure proper list management, subscription and segmentation to support on-going campaign needs
  • Develop department/role-specific dashboards, reports, lists, notifications, and other routine tasks to support users and monitor sales and marketing campaign results. This includes sales and leadership dashboards
  • Analyze data and develop insights to minimize email list decay and unsubscribes
  • Align Marketing Technology and Operations strategy with the overall Go-to-Market (GTM) strategy set by Sales and Marketing
  • Work with Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, and Sales leaders to understand needs and deliver operational results, and partner as a strategic thought leader to impact revenue outcomes
  • Leverage program management skills to connect the dots across cross-functional teams, identifying potential roadblocks, holding people accountable and ensuring program/project communication across sales, marketing and operations
  • Deliver effective change management when building scalability into our business processes across the organization using process improvements, automation, and continuous improvement methods
  • Partner with Sales and Sales Ops on Sales forecast models and methodologies
  • Identify and deliver key projects across GTM organization including lead conversion effectiveness, lead privacy and compliance (e.g. GDPR), and customer-facing communications

 

Experience/Education/Skills

  • 2-5 years experience in marketing operations -- substantial experience with marketing automation tools
  • Must have expert level Hubspot experience
  • Expert with Marketing Automation programming and smart campaigns
  • Must have campaign management experience, both planning and execution
  • Must have strong experience in how to nurture campaigns to drive revenue
  • Proficient in marketing data integration and marketing ROI reporting
  • Proven experience with lead management and lead scoring
  • Experience using business Intelligence tools like Google Analytics.
  • Proficiency in creation of emails, landing pages, and forms using HTML 
  • Strong project management skills
  • Highly resourceful, self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership
  • Nonprofit or board experience highly desired
  • Experience in SaaS highly preferred
  • Ability to effectively implement new programs and processes within the organization, gaining internal alignment throughout the process  
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment, excel at handling multiple concurrent projects and have a relentless obsession for excellence
  • Self-motivated, organized, disciplined and able to work on your own and as part of a team
  • A creative planner and doer with the ability to lead and influence peers
  • Detail-oriented with strong attention to follow-through
