Job Purpose

This role will be responsible for leading the sales trajectory of Boardable’s Saas platform.  This will entail working closely with the marketing and product organizations due to the product lead growth nature of the platform.  This person will actively participate in as well as oversee an inbound focused sales team as well as a strategic partnerships rep.

The position is ideal for someone with a collaborative spirit, consultative approach to prospect and customer development, and a strong drive to set and exceed sales targets.

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the marketing, product and customer team to develop and support revenue growth focused strategies
  • Responsible for owning the strategic sales growth plan
  • Implement processes and best practices to drive sales results with a small team
  • Closely monitor sales team’s performance and provide sales forecasts to executive leadership 
  • Actively engage in larger enterprise and partner pursuits
  • Build a culture of healthy, productive competition among the sales team and broader company to emphasize a sense of urgency and ownership in contributing to Boardable’s growth
  • Optimize the sales team’s use of CRM software Hubspot and other data sources for maximum prospect intelligence and forecasting accuracy

Experience/Education/Skills

The qualifications below are preferred, but not required. We are open to hiring the right SaaS sales leader, regardless of background, education, or experience. 

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 10+ years of relevant experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to build, manage, and convert a sales pipeline
  • Experience managing and developing a sales team
  • Demonstrated success selling software or in similar sales environments
  • Knowledge of SaaS business models, particularly product-led growth
  • Financial motivation and drive to maximize revenue from prospects with great product-market fit
  • Understanding of and passion for nonprofit sector; experience serving as a volunteer or nonprofit board member a plus
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced, tech startup environment
  • Ability to work independently and juggle competing priorities
