About the Role

Boardable is seeking a creative marketer and skilled strategist for a Sr. Manager, Content Marketing position. This role will report to the Head of Marketing and seamlessly integrate with the rest of the Marketing team to deliver effective and impactful copy on a multitude of projects. As the strategic leader of our content marketing effort, the Sr. Manager will spearhead the development and implementation of Boardable's holistic content strategy with a focus on results. This includes building a content calendar, creating a writing process and delivering strategy, writing and proofreading copy, contributing to social media posts, driving communications and PR storytelling, and ultimately, crafting interesting and well-researched content that drives traffic, engages site visitors, and translates to strong demand.


  • Owns and drives brand storytelling to our target audiences, through short- and long-form content that is growth driven and drives performance impact for demand generation campaigns, sales enablement, SEO, case studies, PR, social, paid ads, review sites, podcasts, and video scripting.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams—including Customer Marketing, Product Marketing, Talent & Culture, Operations, and Sales — to create compelling content that drives action.
  • Continually improve content based on analytics and feedback from internal and external parties
  • Partner with the digital team to improve search rankings and ensure content is easily discoverable.
  • Own internal buy-in and enablement on consistency of brand voice, messaging, and style across all assets and platforms for external and internal audiences.
  • Manage content production and distribution processes including integration with marketing operations and sales enablement tools/processes.
  • Work with external influencers, partners and internal subject matter experts to define and drive key messages for content.
  • Serve as the internal expert on content library by keeping content updated and relevant, repurposing existing content, identifying content gaps, and recognizing opportunities to expand library to meet sales and marketing needs, while monitoring KPIs and content influence
  • Write, edit, produce and create content that inspires audiences to move throughout the buyer’s journey to support demand generation goals and an integrated marketing strategy.
  • Partner with internal and external design resources to influence the visual identity of Boardable and ensure brand consistency
  • Manages vendor/contractor relationships that support content marketing
  • Willingness to speak on webinars and other media formats, as needed


  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a B2B content marketing function, including a mix of execution and strategy work
  • 2+ years of SaaS marketing experience and a strong understanding of the SaaS buying journey
  • Proven track record in content marketing strategy and content development across multiple formats for broad audience segments
  • Strong B2B marketing content writing and editing experience is required – content projects and or writing samples will be requested
  • Customer-centric mentality, ability to understand the customer’s needs and challenges and translate them into compelling content
  • Solid foundation in copywriting for advertisements, digital marketing, SEO, PR/Comms, scripting, sales enablement, email sequencing, webinars, and podcasting,
  • Experience with and knowledge of SEO content production and execution
  • Has PR experience or knowledge of PR best practices
  • Experience managing external agencies and/or contractors is strongly preferred
  • Ability to effectively implement new content management processes within a matrix organization, gaining internal alignment and buy-in
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment, excel at handling multiple concurrent projects and have a relentless obsession for excellence
  • Self-motivated, organized, disciplined and able to work on your own and as part of a team
  • A creative planner and doer with the ability to lead and influence peers, leadership experience a plus
  • Detail-oriented with strong attention to follow-through

  • Salary range: Commensurate with experience, $85,000 USD or more commensurate with experience and education. We are committed to compensating our team fairly and welcome conversations about salary. We promise transparency throughout the process.
