Job Purpose

Reporting to the Vice President of Marketing, the Director of Digital Marketing will manage a team of marketers tasked with demand generation and marketing funnel optimization using inbound marketing tactics such as SEO, social media, landing page conversion testing, online advertising, and email marketing in order to grow our database and overall company revenues. 

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Project Management: Leads and manages all digital marketing and CRM conversion campaign projects
  • Manage a team of marketers to drive key business metrics including leads, MQLs, SQLs, and Opportunities
  • Collaborate with channel-specific markers (blogging, email, social media, etc.) in order to optimize conversion paths and rates overall to drive marketing-qualified leads for our sales team
  • Provide direction for managing key points in the digital marketing funnel, including digital channel optimization, landing page optimization, lead generation forms, and website calls-to-action (CTAs)
  • Collaborate with all departments to create integrated campaigns and support marketing stakeholders, including demand generation, sales development, and customer marketing.
  • In-depth knowledge of the various paid marketing channels and technologies, including paid search, retargeting, social network advertising (Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, and more), and content distribution
  • Stay up-to-date with digital marketing trends and potential new channels and strategies to keep us ahead, including updates to social media marketing, attribution, and programmatic media buying

Experience/Education/Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent and five (5) years experience in a digital marketing role, with at least two (2) years at a SaaS company
  • Past experience managing customer acquisition programs using inbound marketing tactics, email marketing, lead nurturing, advertising via search, social, and display, and web analytics
  • Proficient using HubSpot or equivalent CRM and marketing automation technology to nurture leads and optimize for lifecycle stage
  • WordPress experience a must
  • Excellent data analysis and written communication skills
  • Highly analytical and able to derive meaning from data through A/B testing, digital advertising management, and email optimization
  • Ability to work at a fast-paced company where the feedback cycle is measured in hours rather than weeks
  • A desire to experiment and present the results (and experiment again)
