About the Role

We are looking for an inspiring, innovative, creative, and hands-on VP of Marketing. Reporting to the CEO, the VP of Marketing will lead and execute the company marketing strategy and be responsible for communications, branding, thought leadership, demand and lead generation, marketing analytics as all marketing activities. The VP of Marketing will partner closely with the senior management team to create an integrated, company-wide marketing strategy that drives demand generation and customer acquisition.


  • Architect and develop Boardable’s marketing strategy to drive brand awareness, growth, and revenue
  • Acquire new customers while constantly optimizing spend via a performance marketing function that is deeply analytical in approach, tools and techniques
  • Serve as a key member of the Executive Leadership Team, collaborating closely with our Sales, Product, Growth and Operations teams to develop a comprehensive marketing strategy
  • Recruit, lead, and motivate a high-performing marketing organization, including Social, Content, Design, and strong collaboration with Customer and Product Marketing
  • Collaborate with Product to develop our go-to-market strategy for new and existing products
  • Define and evolve Boardable’s  brand positioning as the thought leader in board management via PR, brand, and content strategies
  • Craft a compelling brand vision and strategy to create a community around our brand 
  • Select and manage external partners, vendors and agencies
  • Create marketing budgets and develop effective methods to track and evaluate the performance of all marketing functions
  • Collaborate with the leadership team and engage with a broader range of stakeholders including investors, media, and the nonprofit community, among others
  • Define and deliver reporting to the leadership team and company-wide on departmental OKR’s, KPI’s, and project outcomes


  • 8+ years of Marketing Leadership experience within high-growth environment; SaaS experience strongly preferred
  • Passionate and experienced people leader and team builder
  • Demonstrated experience in successfully creating and launching marketing and GTM strategy across multiple channels
  • Hands-on experience with CRM and SEO tools like Google Analytics, HubSpot, marketing tech stack knowledge, etc.
  • Demonstrated ability to use data and analytics for decision-making
  • Excellent communication skills—can motivate, support, and lead staff; outstanding interpersonal, public speaking, and written communication
  • Intellectually agile—a strategic thinker who can think deeply and qualitatively about business problems, breaking down issues, and presenting solutions
